I'm curious what Boateng was doing. Did he realize he was one on one with Messi and fainted? Was he trying to force Messi on his right foot, his weaker foot? Was he scared to tackle? Ronaldo's second goal, the header, was absolutely world class. He is literally head and shoulders above Messi and others in this department. When other strikers set their goal targets to 20 per season, these two are trying to score 60 goals in one season. The game yesterday also showed the level England has fallen in European football. The game was one of the highest quality with players and coaches almost matching up.
