That was not very nice. The booing should be reserved for the scum bags from other clubs (like yours). Until he his NOT and LFC player, he is an LFC player. Poor form on the part of the booers.

Isn't that the norm for Looserpool fans?

Since we're on the topic of 'poor form' ..Haven't you heard the horrendous renditions of YNWA before each Anfield game? Damn! The FA needs to stop this attempted massacre.

Please! Every last English club, given similar circumstances, would have done it, so quit with this holier than thou nonsense!

And when you think this comes just after Steven Gerrard's last game, it is somewhat understandable. Gerrard was the type of player who could not have been bought.

But how much booing actually took place, anyway?

As Sterling made a short acceptance speech there were shouts of "Stay Raheem" and as he finished speaking and left the stage there were audible boos from some of the 3,000 fans assembled at the rear of the Echo Arena in the city.
I won't even touch the "no blacks on this train" issue. Never seen Liverpool fans do that!

Awwww ... somebody feelings hurt! I haven't heard MU fans booing David DeGea.

                  Whose feelings hurt?!

                  Are the two situations similar?

Let me know which words you're having difficulty with. Maybe I could dumb it down a bit for ya.

                    "Are the two situations similar?"

You're correct, they aren't similar. DeGea is at an institution of football and wants to move to another institution. Sterling is at a midtable club according to Xuberant and wants to go anywhere but Anfield.

                      That's one difference.

The other is, has de Gea been in cantankerous (apparently) contact negotiations with Manu for the last 6 months, where his form has dropped noticeably?

Has the negotiations been cantankerous? Or was it Liverpool that tried to pressure the player by going public with what is on the table?

Both players have a contract waiting to be signed ... neither has decided to sign ... as yet.

Post s/b attached to Lazie's original post.
Tempest in a teacup... a few reprobates booed because they're upset at how THEY PERCEIVE Raheem to be treating the club (rejecting it), which has been, IMO, very kind to him. So, yah, a few will boo but by and large if he leaves I believe the majority will thank him for his time.
