The USA will only improve with time.

There is also a vast player resource with family ties overseas.
The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

You see the college kid he called up who scored against Mexico?
Now this is what Klingsmann need to do. Find the talent.

This is what the JFF needs to do when league breaks.

So, you know why he went to college rather than signing with the Sounders at 18???.......And one of the big reasons why Klinsmann is giving him so much playing time with the USMNT???

So you know that going to college was to appease his father, who is the Sounders orthopedic specialist & medical director???

yes I know that, and he can sign with Seattle anytime as a homegrown player.

The fact is, it is good to have choices. Klingsmann and others also sending their kids to college as well.

The 2 reasons why he hasn't signed with the Sounders is because 1. it's not financially beneficial and 2. he wants to play in Europe (which his father said he would "accept" & why Klinsmann is giving him that many 1st team games).

If Klinsmann kid doesn't go to college, where is he going to play???......GK is the position where the U.S. is stacked.......Check the U20 squad & you'll see that out of the thousands of college players, the only position they could fill is backup GK.......And outside of Morris, the other 2 college players in the U23 pool get called in mainly when the pros can't report.

Klingsmann could have sent his son to one of many German clubs, maybe not the top ones. My point is the decision to go to college doesn't mean one is not a good player and they shouldn't be overlooked. No matter how you cut it, it is decision by the youth and his family. See Robbie Earl and so many of them send their kids to college before trying it at the pros.

Look for others to make similar decision.

Send him there to do what???......Have you seen him play to make such a statement???......List the top German clubs that want to sign Klinsmann son, or even the MLS clubs that want to sign him.

Yeah!!! Man U, Arsenal & Chelsea were all fighting to sign Robbie Earls' son......Where's he playing now???

Continue beating a dying horse Mr. NCAA......The TOP rated youth players will sign pro contracts if given the opportunity, as you can see with the youth team pools.

How many US players Manu fighting to sign????

You think US academy can compare to even some of the Championship or German 2nd division academy.

Based on report I have read Klingmann's son made the decision to go to college, so take it up with the reporters. Again it is choice that people make and others will do the same.

"How many US players Manu fighting to sign????" - This response makes no sense.....Obviously the sarcasm went over your head, so let me say it clearly for you - Robbie Earl's son went where he could play soccer: college. Did you hear of him being offered a pro contract before college & how many people knew of him before the MLS Draft??? He was drafted by Dallas & so far he has failed to make any of their game rosters.

"You think US academy can compare to even some of the Championship or German 2nd division academy." - Another statement that's neither here nor there. What are you talking about???

Klinsmann's son made the decision to go to college because at this stage he has not been offered a pro contract from Germany, US or anywhere else........He's 18, so if he was an elite talent he would have been on the US or German U20 squad for the WC.
