    Klinsmann: we had enough chances

ATLANTA -- For someone who made his living by filling the net on a regular basis, United States head coach Jurgen Klinsmann did not have to be reminded of the reason as to why his team lost to Jamaica in the CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinals on Wednesday night.

    Goals.

Actually, the lack of them at the Georgia Dome.

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

ATLANTA -- Jamaica enters its the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinal against the United States confident of progressing to the final despite posting only one win in 22 all-time meetings between the sides (1W-8D-13L).

The Reggae Boyz (2015 Gold Cup record: 3W-1D-0L), who are coming off a 1-0 quarterfinal triumph over Haiti, want to make history at the Georgia Dome on Wednesday.

"We are definitely looking forward to create an upset," defender Kemar Lawrence said. "We know that everyone is looking forward to the United States to come out and put us away. It's not going to be like that on this day. It's going to be a tough match right to the last whistle and my teammates are prepared to do anything right now to get to the next round.”

"Obviously not the result we wanted: two set-piece goals," goalkeeper Brad Guzan said. "When we give a team like Jamaica a chance to stay in the game, they did well to hold on. At the other end, we probably could’ve taken one or two other chances, but that’s football.*

"At times we combined really well, created tons of chances. You can call it what you want. It’s about scoring more goals and we didn’t do it."
Friggin Americans trying to convince someone that they should have won this game easily. Bull crap!

For a team that makes their living winning games from set pieces, disingenuous of them to now make it seem like goals from set pieces are less.

Hope Panama kick they arrogant asses!

The stats state that we had one shot on target. Enuff said!

Klinsmann says they had enough chances to score "3, 4, 5 goals" but didn't. Which game was he watching? Feeble shots on target don't count as sh!t!

I hope they fire his lousy arse right after they lose to Panama on Saturday!

It is a pride thing. Klingsmann under pressure now and worst the women won their world cup.

We have another game this year if they don't postone it.

              Bring it back to Atlanta.

The 36-year-old Howard, who plays for Everton in the English Premier League, was allowed a sabbatical from international soccer in August last year but he could now return after the Gold Cup.

United States goalkeeper Brad Guzan beaten

ATLANTA, USA (AP) — After the feel-good summer of 2014, the United States were eager to pick up another Gold Cup title and lock up their spot in the next Confederations Cup.

Instead, the Americans are dealing with one of their most shocking losses.

Giving up two first-half goals on set plays, one delivered by goalkeeper Brad Guzan's blunder on a routine throw, the US fell to Jamaica 2-1 in the Gold Cup semi-finals Wednesday night.

Panama's head coach Hernan Dario Gomez has slammed his side's controversial defeat to Mexico on Wednesday night as "utter robbery" and says the result has left a stain on football as a whole.

Panama, playing a man down from the 25th minute, led Mexico 1-0 until the 88th through captain Roman Torres' header before referee Mark Geiger awarded a controversial penalty, which tilted the balance of the CONCACAF Gold Cup semi-final at the Georgia Dome
