No January business eh? It is quite possible and I would not be surprised. But I think three strikers is not enough with Sturridge's injury record.

Good points about Migs. He does pull of some amazing saves...

I'm very curious about the rumour about a new goalie. Migs has had many clean sheets but I wonder if he could be more aggressive on crosses. He seems to sit on the goal line quite a bit. I don't know much about goal keeping technique though. Thoughts?

I saw some promise in the attacking play in the second half.

Chelsea game will be interesting but I'm also interest in the midweek fixture because this starting eleven looked gassed.
My biggest criticism of him is in his ability to communicate and organize the back 4 on set plays. My second criticism of him is in his inability to live up to his responsibility of being the first point of attack. He frequently "punts" the ball when he doesn't have to, putting the ball into a 50/50 "up for grabs" situation when a simple pass off to a defender or midfielder will do. He is however, an EXCELLENT shot stopper. I can't think of who is out there that would be available who I would replace him with...however...under a new manager, anything is possible. I can't see LFC not doing business in the January window.

Please find me the post where I have been critical of Sakho...I may have said he looked "awkward" but I have not been critical of his play. As for Lucas, my criticism of him was in the Rafa days, when he caused us games more than once...I will never forget the game against WH when he gave up a foul on the edge of the box that cost us the game. I have not been critical of him as a squad member since - that was almost 8 years ago. As for Rodgers playing them (or not) the end result was the same: draws...like the soiled ones you are wearing. Your simplistic approach to the multiple facets of the game has about the same intellectual gravity as a dog's regurgitated breakfast. Now, go wipe up yu leg and stop chat tripe.

I will add , the only thing Klopp and BR has in common is ,Klopp is still trying to find his best 11 and best formation after 3 games , BR was still doing that after 3 season and 300 million.

I will make a detail post tomorrow on that , if not tomorrow , the day after.

    Thanx.

There was no memo. Rodgers got sacked because the owners were opportunistic. They saw an arguably "world class" manager available and went for it. Their club, their decision. My preference would have been Ancelotti, UCL winner 3 times, league winner in three leagues, nuff cup and tournament winner...big manager in anyone's book. But Klopp is the man so he has my FULL support same way. I am not going to sit here and tear him down like we have seen certain so called "fans" do with managers who weren't their choice.

You are an idiot,Klopp is suffering from more than that, the same Sahko you now rate ,did you rate him previously ? Where was Sahko and Lucas in Rodgers reign?

Mo - Sakho has been a consistent performer at the back for us, so no need to dis him. The thing that concerned me the most is that we simply don't have the "connective tissue" between the players in danger areas around the box. They are just not on the same page. For example, Moreno's "shot" that should simply have been rolled to Lallana, or the inability of young Origi to work off Coutinho. It is the same problems we have had since last season coming into this season - the players need to step up. Lots of industry is nothing new, lack of goals is nothing new, giving up goals when we shouldn't from simple set plays is nothing new. Klopp is suffering from the same player problems his predecessor suffered from, injuries, and lack of effective communication/understanding in the danger areas. We need some S-S-S replacement candidates as I can't see the current group solving that problem though I suspect Klopp can work a magic with Sturridge, Benteke and Firmino which we have yet to see. We are also badly in need of an on-field leader and with Ings out for the rest of the season, it would make sense to buy as much of a striker as we can afford to play with Benteke as possible as we would be stupid to rely on Sturridge to stay fit.

Next weekend against Chelsea will be "must-see TV for sure". Keep trying fellows. It will come.

You have another defender beter than Sahko at LFC at this moment, please let me know ? Coutinho is in trouble,as i have repeatedly said his development under Rodgers was anemic, his best season happened when Saurez was here, since that he has been struggling,he needs to improve fast , because llana and Henderson will eat im food.I dont see Klopp moving Lucas out of that defensive position. There should be no doubt how much of an assest Lucas is to pool, without him, just imagine the free reign southamptom would have had in the middle.(Hello BR )

I dont see Barca or anyone coming in for Coutinho anytime soon.Lets not forget City moved for Sterling a player that could have done a better job in Coutinho position if a certain coach gave him that chance instead of sacrificing him at left back.To unbalance the team.Basically they compete for said positions attacking midfeld and left wing , with Sterling going one or two better, right wing and striker. The left back joke goes like this , when asked Sterling quipped , i train to play as a striker...lol

He has a faaaar waaay to go in being consistent.
