Lilly Pool's problem was them thinking of themselves as a big club who could turn their backs on £114m. Instead of taking the Couthino money this summer, lower their expectations and try to consolidate their mid table position until Xmas, and then come January try to get a decent defender and then next summer spend the rest of the money.Hey .. look at the bright side .... at least you're not a Liverpool fan! - Lazie 2/24/10

Me doan know why dem keep grouping dissimilar things even though Mourinho has distinguished himself from the get go.The first of his new wave of acquisitions was Bailly, Mensah was unfairly shafted but even so, he was only loan out and not sold. That defender isn't at fault for any of the five goals...
We have had our bad game, and it was largely inconsequential.

The first goal he made an error of judgement, but again, the defence needed to be more assertive...
As for the penalty, I don't think it was one. He clearly (ok, on the replay) made contact with the ball before Vardy clattered into his leg on the follow through... but sometimes the call goes against you!Peter R
