Seems MLS teams are falling for Argentine coaches. I'm hearing that 2 Argentine Primera Division coaches are receiving interests from MLS teams:

Guillermo Barros Schelotto (Boca Juniors). Played 2007-10 at Columbus Crew. Turned down a contract extension, with Boca, and is out of contract in December. Rumored MLS move, by Argentine media, since August.

Marcelo Gallardo (River Plate). Played 2008 at DC United.

coach coming to the league. San Jose has hired Matias Almeyda, as their new head coach.......I guess Almeyda couldn't wait for Tata Martino to decide what he's doing. Based on his resume, I thought he would have been hired by LA Galaxy, especially since they now have some good academy coaches & producing some very good players.
