BUDAPEST, Sept 13 (Reuters) - Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas has been taken into intensive care in hospital, state news agency MTI reported on Wednesday without giving any details. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></DIV>

Puskas, 79, has been in hospital with form of Alzheimer's disease for six years and no one from his family or the hospital could be reached immediately for comment, although his biographer Gyorgy Szollosi confirmed the agency's report.

News website Index said this was the second time this week that Puskas had been transferred to intensive care.

Puskas notched 83 goals in 84 appearances for his country and famously scored four goals in Real Madrid's 7-3 demolition of Eintracht Frankfurt in the 1960 European Cup final.
