So true! Just because grandstand tickets are hard to come by for an event that takes place over 4 days of the year, with only one of those days commanding serious demand, is not good enuff reason to build a 400 million US dollar stadium. You can't get tix, too bad!
Do what the Olympics does - substantially raise the cost of grandstand tickets. Even in Jamaica, the demand will plummet and the stadium will suddenly become the right size again.

A modern stadium is not exactly a bad idea...regardless of the seating issues..why though can't the bleachers seat be upgraded from those benches? Certainly in terms of the support facilities...bathrooms, showers, gym, health areas etc...
Now a gift wouldn't be so bad...Ja needs a Jack Warner...lol...is about 6 he built....Comment

Bleachers bathroom and concession stand were significantly improved for the World Youth Games (?) in 2003. It's not bad over there at all. Carry sunscreen and unnu good!
