I am not sure if the spiking was deliberate though.

As you say them was warring all day and Champs was still up for grabs at that point and the tension was mounting, so it wouldn't have taken much for things to explode the way they did.

It was a real shock though. Me just remember watching bokkle a sail over me head to rhatid. It was a good Champs up to that point too.

Calabar running the events too hard. Looks like they trying to scare people. Over confidence?

The organisers at the time had made seating arrangements for the schools in the bleachers, where the school that won the previous year sat near the finish line beside the grandstand, with the 2nd placed school beside them going around the stadium. That usually meant KC and Calabar were seated beside each other.

The following year they tried to change it up, putting the second placed school at the other end near the 100m start, thinking they would be separating KC and Calabar.

Well, that didn't work. Who wants to sit at that end!

Calabar eventually found themselves opposite the grandstand and they have made that their home while KC occupies the section beside the grandstand.

With such a distance between them, Champs has been pretty uneventful for the past several years!

Big up yuhself same way, myYout. It's an honour to represent your school at those prestigious championships, to run on that Chevron, in front of a packed stadium. And to do that, looking at a clean pair of heels belonging to the great Raymond Stewart...yuh large!
