    More bacchanal with Beach J'Ouvert

    Thursday, April 09, 2009
Next up on the holiday calendar for carnival is the not-to-be-missed Bacchanal Beach J'ouvert. The lively carnival fete is definitely one of a kind taking j'ouvert to the sea shore.
Once again being held at James Bond Beach this Saturday, April 11, Beach J'Ouvert promises to be even better this year. Securing the biggest name in soca, patrons can look forward to seeing the soca king himself, Machel Montano. Known for his stellar live performance and his impeccable whinning skills, this will be an event you don't want to miss.
Also set to take the stage is Montano's latest protégée Patrice Roberts. The pair boasts a string of hits this year including Mesmerise, Push Yu Bumper, Ravin, Wild Antz, Wont Stop, Sway in the Mas, Come Over and Tempa Wine. Mixing things up on the turntables will be DJ Private Ryan, DJ Smoke and Omar C from Sparkles.
It's more paint, more fun, and more bacchanal as the madness begins promptly at 1:00pm this Saturday.
