  • Fidel Castro says Obama was mistaken

Former Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, says President Barack Obama misinterpreted his brother's comments about a possible thaw in US-Cuban relations.

Earlier this month, President Raul Castro said Cuban leaders would be willing to discuss everything with the Americans, including human rights and freedom of the press.
President Obama responded by saying Washington sought a new beginning with Havana, but later added that it should release some political prisoners.

Correspondents say this appears to have enraged Fidel Castro, who made his intervention in the form of a short essay on a Cuban government website.
"Jamaica's future reflects its past, having attained only one per cent annual growth over 30 years whilst neighbours have grown at five per cent." (Article)

Raul Castro should silence his brother, if Fidel does not speak for the Cuban government.

Well you can ongle have one leader at a time. When Fidel runs his mouth, he gives the impression that him still run tings. Fidel should tek a page from George Bush and chill.

Fidel cannot now jump and prance. Raul can!
...so who says Raul is not merely the mouthpiece of Fidel...swaying in the wind as Fidel waves his wand?
