  • Golding was in T&T yesterday

and held talks with the T&T acting PM Dr. Lenny Saith on the sale of Air Jamaica.

This was all I could get from the Trinidad Express online.

    http://www.trinidadexpress.com/index...e?id=161571347

according to the article the visit was low key, "without any official announcement" and they met for an hour. The topic presumably was to pursue Caribbean Airlines bid for Air JA which the article said was reported back in July.

Well what else is left in Jamaica for Trinidad to take over?

"Swapping black dog fi monkey" was the saying when I was a yute... Trinidad govt. is probably even worse at managing money than JA; when the oil and gas run out we'll see...by then JA goin look like paradise... but you can see the Trini businessmen are entrenching themselves for when cheap inputs (fuel & electricity) are history.
