Suspected suicide in former MP's son's death
    Wednesday, May 19, 2010

THE St Andrew North police are investigating the suspected suicide of Brian Lee, son of former Jamaica Labour Party member of Parliament and junior minister for agriculture, Brascoe Lee.

Lee was found dead in his East Avenue home in St Andrew Monday morning by neighbours who summoned the police.

"He was found about 6:45 this (Monday) morning. His neighbours did not see him since Sunday and they forced open his door and found his body," Deputy Superintendent in charge of crime for the St Andrew North Division Altermoth 'Parra' Campbell told the Observer.

Lee's licensed 9mm pistol was found beside his body, which had a single gunshot wound to the head.

"We suspect suicide, but we are investigating all angles," Campbell said.
Police say Lee's neighbours did not hear any explosions.

Yesterday, a police source said Lee may have taken his life over the loss of a hefty sum in a failed investment scheme.

Any death is cause for grief...

It may be wise for the cops to follow young Lee's movements and who he was in the company of during his last days.

It would also be prudent to check sources and movement of funds into and out of his accounts during the last years.

You never know what may be turned up...after all is said, he it appears died of a shot to the head...but there was no sound of a shot! It may have been MURDER MOST FOUL...and it just be to "tie up lose ends"
