"PEOPLE'S National Party (PNP) President Portia Simpson Miller and chairman Bobby Pickersgill have been served with an order obtained last week in the Jamaican Supreme Court, compelling them to respond, by oath, to questions posed by Dutch investigators probing the Trafigura donation of $31 million to the PNP four years ago.
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Paula Llewellyn, in an interview with the Observer yesterday, said the orders, which were served on Wednesday, also compel former energy minister Phillip Paulwell and ex-information minister Collin Campbell to respond to the questions from the investigators. Heh heh. They should fry for this. It would be nice if wholesale changes occur but I am not holding my breath. Actually it was the PNP who first tried the 'shoot the messenger' defense when this first occurred.

It's amusing to see these charges and counter-charges of corruption between the two tribes...

In 2007 the PNP was being lambasted for 18 years of corruption by the JLP...then it took the JLP less than 18 months to take corruption soaring to new heights...including open Parliamentary & Diplomatic protection of narco killers.... now the JLP is feeling the heat and seeking to re-heat the TeaCup to draw attention away from DudusGate...
