A nice article, but a crucial ingredient was not even mentioned: the sound engineers responsible for creating the Channel One sound. Of special note is a very talented engineer who I had the pleasure of knowing very well, a lanky guy popularly known as Scientist.Originally posted by Assasin View Post
By the start of the 1980s Scientist was the main engineer at Channel One studio, and then he went to Tuff Gong. He went to live in the USA at some point in the 1980s. -
