CVM Television has announced that its chief executive officer, Al Edwards has resigned with immediate effect.
The resignation follows a recent incident at the company involving an alleged assault against a sports reporter in the CVM newsroom.
In a statement this evening CVM said, in accepting Edwards’ resignation, the board wished him well in his future endeavours.
Edwards joined CVM Television on May 15 this year.
