  • BTW Mo on the subject

out of many one people. Let me cut the fat and get to the meat of the argument. You want to discuss Cooper's argument on the make up of blacks in Ja relative to how they are presented when marketing the island's tourism's product.

Cooper's argument is sound (backed by the numbers); it's sad that based on the population size Ja is being portrayed as a majority brown or lighter hue people. The only way to counter her is to say "listen it' marketing and our target would appreciate seeing those people in the picture". A counter would be "but look at our sports teams and musicians" (who are critical to the product).

Yes she has very good point on this subject.

If you have a problem with how Jamaica is portrayed why don't you just leave? Oh my bad...

But you locals are embarrassing the man when he is having cocktails with his
American friends and discussing the problems in the Third World.

All those people, some dressed in black scavenging for cow foot is just so infra-dig. Makes one want to choke on the olive in the martini. LoL
