          Funny. I was talking to an aunt of mine the other day and she said the best festival song ever was the one that didn't win. Namely: UNITY by Desmond Dekkers and the Aces. She claims that if that song had won Jamaica would be a diffferent place today. Truth be told she is an incurable romantic.

                I didn't even know that was originally a festival song. Not surprised though because in those early days good festival songs actually used to chart. Cherry Oh Baby, Sweet and Dandy, etc.

                During the time I followed festival songs, my favorite song that didn't win is this one: Tinga Stewart took it that year.
