Head of the National Transport Co-operative Society Ezroy Millwood, was found dead at his home in St. Andrew sometime after 4 am this morning.
The cause of his death is still unknown, however there are also unconfirmed reports that he died of natural causes. Millwood was originally awarded $4 billion in damages by the local courts but the UK Privy Council had this reduced to the sum of $2 and half billion, after the Government terminated a 10 year contract with the NTCS. However the Jamaican Government was granted leave to the UK Privy Council to challenge this award and Mr Millwood described it as an abuse of power to drag the matter on for over 15 years. Millwood also revealed earlier this year that he had paid over $200 million in legal costs.
