Another black icon to bring down in the public's eye. Woody Allen is still making his money, so is Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson.

Sad to say I am slowly coming round to the belief that Cosby has a VERY dark side. I never thought he was Heatcliff Huxtable but drugging and sexual assault, well that wasn't my radar at all.
Wow, a new case? This one sounds fishy but it still counts as a case. Cosby is finished.

Why not? Where are the victims of the infractions he speaks about?!?!?

Drugged then raped could easily be the strategy on cast members too, can't see him being in control of his predatory instinct considering the years he spent in that working environment.Replenishing victims is probably why had so many daughters. The idea of moving up because of association is what lured his victims, not being a Huxtable may deter victims....
I would be surprised if he was able turn off his predatory instincts as one does a light.
His tv wife likely would have been the first one victimized,if there is an allegation from one cast member followed by the domino effect we are seeing, then I would find it harder to discount.
Rape has always been a problem for women, was that addressed in any of the episodes of that family show?

BTW I am not suggesting for a minute that a woman cannot be raped and then decide to become involved with her rapist, it does happen. Just asking for clarification.

Well as I always say, we don't know these people.

I wonder why Rockman says it would take one of the Huxtables making such a claim for him to believe? What is so special about them?
Good one. I never thought of statutory rape. I am not sure where she said it happened and the age of consent at the time. What I meant that she may have trusted him at age 17 because she did not know better. Here is her story.

He settled with one. That one had the best case so far because she was never his side chick. 12 or 13 more supported her and were willing to testify against him as 'Jane Doe 1,2, 3 etc in the case that was settled. 5 of those 13 were also taking his money and gifts. The other 8 may have good cases but they don't want to be identified.

The one that is most vocal now (Barbara) is the most interesting. She was the only 1 of the 13 that wanted her name used. She was 17 when they met and may have been raped initially but she stuck with him for years when clearly he was using her as his side chick. If he wants peace then he has to settle with her despite the fact that she cannot win in court.

    Rocky Rocky Rocky...

Maybe the single best college course I have done [is] called Reading. The minimum score without repeating was a 'B'.

One important take from that course, is the importance of simplicity in writing. That short sentences...with simple words are best comprehended.

Even in technical writing, it is stressed that the simple approach is most desirable.

Islandman,IF the allegations are true(the out of court settlement albeit Michael Jackson did the sane and he wasn't guity)then we are taking cues from an undesirable that is dwelling on trivial issues. It is like Charles Barclay painting a picture of ignorance of his race to his caucasian friends without making the correlation with the insatiable desire for one to validate themselves after attaining success by marrying a caucasian women.
