CANADA-BASED Timeless Herbal Care Limited (THC) announced Saturday it has secured a US$100-million deal to develop medical marijuana products here in Jamaica for the international market

THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

It would be great if this inadequate article were to state what a "US$100 deal" means

Is THC planning to INVEST US$100m over a period of time?

Do they plan to PURCHASE US$100m in ganja??

Is this the projected REVENUE for THC??

If so....what is the business plan....even an outline plan??

Food for thought : JA penal system has a budget of 2 billion dollars, 90 % of all arrrest in Ja are related to ganja, in theory post decriminalization JA sould be saving that money, so where is it going and how is it being spent ? Thats about a 100 million US , no question asked by academia or policy makers !

BETTY… we will continue to play a leading role in establishing Jamaica as the medical marijuana hub of the world.

Going by the announcement by Canada-based Timeless Herbal Care Limited (THC), as carried in the Tuesday edition of this newspaper, Jamaica stands to benefit from a US$100-million deal to develop medical marijuana products here for the international market over the next 10 years. This is big big news for ganja.

Mr Courtney Betty, the Jamaican-Canadian who heads THC, offered the view that the deal between his THC and Denver, Colorado-based O.penVAPE, said to be the largest consumer cannabis brand, marked the "first time in history that an international collaboration has been created to produce cannabis-infused products outside of the United States".
