As a fan of Jamaican track & field and also a fan of the MVP athletes, I am not in agreement with Franno's actions now that more information has come to light. He needs to put his ego in check and work on mending fences with the JAAA, because if the bulk of his athletes are Jamaican then he will need the support of the JAAA to enter his athletes in major championships. Eventually the shine will rub off of his athletes unless they have some major championship hardwares.

I am not in agreenmment now that... So if he had not accreditation and or access to his athletes you would have agreed with him

Question: Do you think the athletes under Franno's care that were selected to represent JAMAICA should have been on the JAMAICA TEAM to this Olympics?

If you do, do you think those other athletes selected to JAMAICA's TEAM whose coaches were not included in the JAMACA Olympic TEAM party were discriminated against?

If yes, consider this - if each and everyone of those remaining athletes had separate coaches should all those coaches have been selected to be a part of JAMAICA's TEAM?

If no...what then would make Franno's athletes more deserving of a personal coach and JAMAICA's other athletes not deserving?

Franno's outburst...and following on from his outburst his expectations are juvenile! The man acted the fool. The athletes who marched lock step with him down that path...silly stamp-foot tantrum path...in that, where fools! If not fools...then worse...selfish morons! They should have been, in a very soft voice, told you are either at JAMAICA's TEAM practise at "x" hundred hours...or you are no longer a part of JAMAICA's TEAM...but your own TEAM...and would be cut from JAMAICA's TEAM immediately at 1 minute after that "x" hundred hours.

It is simple really - you are either with the TEAM or you are against the TEAM! No need to raise voices! We wish you the best of everything in your other endevours!

...but as for his reasoning?
He makes the right choice for the wrong reason!
There are other major meets to come where Franno trained athletes will be selected. ...if Franno (...and he has done this before!) pulls the same crap again...will it be awaiting "more info" to come out without seeing 'he is pulling his crap' and taking a stand against such a posture?

The point, Don1, is Franno or Coach X that type action should never be allowed 'to go'! At these games the TEAMs are the Jamaica TEAMs...not Franno's or Coach X's, Coach Y's or Coach Z's!
