  • Rooney ... this MU fan naah cuss you! Next time

grab his shirt or his hand .... do an NFL tackle ... but yuh cannot do that. At least you stop the play and prevent a 2 v 1 on McNair.

Rooney's head goes soft when he is under pressure. If he is not sold in the break, he will be sold at the end of the season. Remember this prediction.

Hope you not putting money on that prediction.

Rooney is a most complete striker of the three we have bit I am mindful of what you said about widespread players changes are needed,on that LvG clearly agrees.
I do not think Rooney has any desire to play for another EPl club though.

I think this is a defining time for Manu. To see the player fight it out with a good and rugged West Ham team was good. The coach have a new center defender and Blackette. I still think that smalling, Jones and Evans are injured too much. Rojo stand up and just need a partner. They youngsters will develop. Some holes in the midfield need plugging. Shaw impressed along with Rafael. This game should be a defining moment for the team and the coach. After going 3 to1 he should be thinking about defense, last week. He was better prepared this week.

Get the impression Blind is light. UP next is Everton, lets see how they handle that team.

Right now, I think the defense needs an ugly, technically-challenged rugged right-footed, loud mouth defender who can lead and issue command to Rojo, Rafael and Shaw. If we get that defender, then Blind and Herrera can do the job in midfield until summer. Rafael is under my watch. He shows signs of improvement but it's too early to pass judgment. That penalty against him was bogus so I won't knock him yet.

Jangle, the little boy that played the other day did a good job. Have to shout him out on that performance. Hoping Herrera is available for the next game.

Yup he was outstanding but I wouldn't entrust him to lead our defense. I like Blackett but him and Rojo cannot play together. Rojo wasn't a necessary buy. Blackett really looks good in the same role.

Blackett? It is my understanding he was too deep many times against LC which caused us many problems. Wasn't saying McNair should lead just acknowledging his performance. Right now me good with anything excepting an Englishman round there Rojo was good enough to be in an Argentina team that reached the World Cup final must have some quality to play in this MU back line.

I read that Vidic is not doing so well at inter.

Vidic days was on the short side down, the problem is Jones and Smalling has not improved and Johnny Evans is always injured and not a rugged defender. Manu got rid of Pique and Shawcross as neither was willing to wait to sit behind Vidic and Rio and the youngsters they bought never came through.

Rojo has a penchant for going forward, and LvG has not impressed on him the importance to remain rooted...
Blackett has played numerous games and has displayed the levl of discipline needed.
All our defenders have a problem dealing with crosses.
We really need an attacking midfielder, someone good at distributing the ball,at this rate,Rooney will be burnt out by mid season.
Is LvG ever going to field the substitute keeper?
