This youth needs to be wrapped in cotton and protected. He is our next Usain Bolt.

Bloomfield was asked to do too much but yes Chris Taylor outsmart him. Bloomfield should n't have blew past Taylor so early. He should have sat behind Taylor until the last 100m.

Absolutely, he is superior but he overestimated his advantage and paid dearly.

I don't think that would have worked either

Bloomfield caught Taylor at about 250m on the back stretch but he had to sprint a fast 150m to get him. Common sense dictated that he should slow down and unless he is another donkey man Francis.

The final time was slower than the heats , proof if Taylor wanted to go out hard , Bloomfield couldnt catch him, in other words Taylor played with him.

It was a lot to make up, especially against an athlete of Taylor's capability, it may have helped Bloomfield if Taylor took off like a rabbit, but he did not. He cruised and waited for him to catch him and turned it into a 200 meter race with Bloomfield wasted. Taylor has a brilliant mind!

Taylor and Bloomfield were tired, it is the last race of the meet!!!!! Look how Merrick watched Javon Francis going past and waited to pounce. That is how you run a 400m championship race. Taylor made the better choice, he used his brain!

Taylor would have been MORE tired.

As if Bloomfield didn't blow past Taylor and open a decent gap unlike,Donkey man that just settled in front of Merrit,, it took Taylor the 60 to 70 m some might argue 80m mark to overtake Bloomfield.

It was war to the end ,Taylor didn't or could not ease up when he pursued Bloomfield from the 200m meter mark.He also expended massive energy.

That said Bloomfield approach was wrong doubt it would change though.
